Tonight my bestfriend of many years asked me to officially be in her wedding, along with our other bestfriends. It was sweet. It was simple. It was heartfelt.

Although creativity is inspiring and seeing how Pinterest has opened pandora’s box for party planning and all things “wedding”, I so appreciated the sentiment to just be asked. No fairy tale scenery needed- just a genuine ” I want you to stand by me”.

It may come as a surprise..but I’m a pretty simple chick. Less is more. Quality over quantity any day. Authentic over dramatic.

Of course I said yes….it’s going to be a fun few months seeing something she and I have talked and dreamed of for over a decade now….become reality! Celebrating other people is a choice and I’m so glad it’s one I’ve always chosen!
