There are few things I love in life more than my best friends. Really other than Jesus and family…and let’s be honest real best friends are like family so we’re down to just Jesus- nothing is better. 

Life is not about things. It’s not about status. It’s not about reaching a dream. It’s about people. The people closest to us are often people God PUT into our world. We can choose to engage and receive the benefit of that OR we can stay locked up and miss out on the fullness of what we have been promised in this life.

I am ABUNDANTLY blessed in this category. Really, if I step back and survey the leading ladies in my life, it’s a bit overwhelming how many women I can actually call my best friends. I so treasure my many seasons of life I have shared with these ladies.

We have grown up together and celebrated countless life moments together. We have loved each other, prayed for each other, encouraged each other, challenged each other and like real family- fought with each other.

Having people you feel at home with is such a gift. It is probably a bit arrogant of me to think other people aren’t as blessed as me in this category, but honestly, I do feel like the definition of “abundantly blessed” in this area of my life. I hit the jackpot.

I know it’s not a mistake or by chance the Lord has surrounded me with some of the strongest, wisest, gracious, loving, smartest, caring, adventurous, giving, driven women. I look forward to another decade of fun memories and life celebrations…and to watching what I know the Lord has already masterfully designed for each of us unfold into our reality.
